Profile and career


Doctor of Theology

He holds a Doctorate in Theology from the Pontificia Università Gregoriana in Rome, where he also earned a Licentiate in Dogmatic Theology. He holds a degree in Education, with a concentration in Philosophy, from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas), and studied Philosophy at the Università Pontificia Salesiana (Rome). Additionally, he worked at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello for more than 12 years, serving as both a faculty member and Director of Graduate Programs.

He has served as a professor and Director of the Department of Formacion Continua at Boston College (STM), where he promoted theological formation for laypeople and various international programs. He teaches Theological Anthropology, Grace, and Eschatology, and has published in both English and Spanish. He has also taught courses on the Mystery of God, Tolerance, and Reconciliation.

He currently serves as Director of Synodal Initiatives and Interim Director at the Instituto Hispano of the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University.
